This commission had to involve the whole community, the Landlord and villagers. Even Lord Waldegrave, of the Waldegrave Estate, became increasingly interested in the new sign. Lord Waldergrave found an old etching of the original coat of arms for me to work from and then kindly gave me permission to alter it slightly.
