Sheppy Inn,
Godney/Somerset Levels,Near Glastonbury

With The Sheppy Inn, as I stripped back the layers of paint that covered the sign, I came across 5 other paintings, all were able to be seen quite clearly and all were of the same kind of image, a fisherman sitting on the banks of the river.

The pub itself is nearly 300 years old and has and still holds an important place for the local community, and so I take the painting of these signs quite seriously.
