The ruin of Corfe Castle sits
high above the village of Corfe
in Dorset, and from the Castle
Inn you get a fantastic view
of this still imposing structure.
The sign itself had to be well protected from the elements,
as it seems the weather funnels down through the village
from the coast and has its first point of contact with
the pub sign.
Another great free
house with a decent array of beers and wholesome food
to keep their customers happy; the owners and staff
keep the place warm and cosy in winter and welcoming
during the summer months. Well worth a visit.
